How to donate

Join your neighbors and friends to help fill our local food bank shelves, and feed your neighbors in need, through dropsites your local grocery store and other community locations near you. The Eastside Month of Concern for the Hungry, "Share What You Can," campaign collects food and cash donations during the month-long food drive to fill food bank shelves with non-perishable food items before the holidays.

Neighborhood associations, community leaders, faith organizations, local markets, businesses, hospitals and schools organized local efforts by hosting food drives and fundraising events in their city. The cities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Issaquah, Mercer Island, North Bend, Redmond, and Sammamish participate in the Month of Concern for the Hungry as a collaborative initiative among volunteers, food banks, faith-based organizations, and local governments. The 2011 campaign collected more than 90,000 pounds of food and nearly $15,000 in cash donations during the month-long food drive.

Click on the "How to Donate" and "Volunteer" tabs above for more information on how to join in the Month of Concern. If you wish to donate directly, you may do so with the organizations listed on the right.
